Self-proclaimed “non-girly” 14-year-old Bella is battling the fight of her young life. Bella finds peace in drawing, painting and sewing … OUR-JAX volunteers surprised her with a personalized room transformation. With the assistance of her Child Life Specialist we were able to transform Bella’s hospital room into an organic, “non-girly”, black/white theme that had a flowy feel. Bella was also thrilled to get her favorite Japanese anima Sumikko Gurashi plush pillow as well as drawing, painting and a spirograph activity kits.
